Stainless Steel Strip Introduction
A stainless steel strip is similar to a sheet with a thickness range between 0.2mm and 6mm.Metal strip is narrow, thin stock that is usually 3/16 in. (4.76 mm) or less in thickness and under 24 in. (609.6 mm) in width.The thickness of sheet metal starts from 0.5 mm and goes up to 6 mm. Anything above that is a metal plate. The thin sheet metal is easy to form, while still providing great strength.Strip steel is a metal product created from hot rolled strip steel that has been pickled, before rolling, to remove any surface impurities. With a clean, uniform finish, cold rolled strip steel is known for having a tighter thickness tolerance than cold rolled steel.
