ASTM A213/A213M17-4 17-7 PH Stainless Steel Tube Seamless/Welded Alloy-Steel Boiler Tube
The matrix structure of precipitate hardened stainless steel may be martensite or austenite, depending on composition and treatment process. Aging hardened martensitic stainless steel has good corrosion resistance and simple heat treatment. The most widely used age-hardened martensitic stainless steel is 17-4pH (0Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb). Aging hardened martensitic stainless steel is sensitive to chloride stress corrosion cracking. Sensitivity depends to some extent on the grade of steel and aging temperature.
